The Helpers of Jesus sisters invite all those who are single and in the age group 40 and above, who would like to join us as Collaborators in our congregation to give a helping hand to the Ministry of the Lord in our various endeavors like Orphanage, Aged home, Women Empowering, and Parish activities.
A short training will be imparted to the collaborators about their work according to our constitution. After training you will be placed in different communities to begin your mission. I know we have many single women who might be interested in the mission of the Lord.

Mumbai - A City brimming with life! Yet in our midst there are many senior citizens who are materially well provided for but plagued with a common malaise - loneliness .
The Helpers of Jesus are concerned about this neglected group and are setting up a 'Home' where seniors will be loved and cared for. Our home will be set up in Andheri - a well connected suburb of Mumbai. We will be able to accomodate 15 members and we are hoping that it'll be operational from February 2009.

Realizing the emptiness of life, St. Francis of Assisi said, "He who serves the poor, serves Christ." Indeed this is true. In the Gospel, Christ sent out his disciples to spread the news of His Kingdom and serve not only the rich but also the poorest of the poor. St. Francis of Assisi, through his sincere enthusiasm, simplicity and dedication, carried on his mission - in spite of being scoffed at.

 Home for Street and Orphan Children
We are in the process of setting up a Home for Street and Orphan children in Vasai. In this regard, we appeal to your generosity.
The land measures around 835 sq. mts. The house on the land is around 1200 sq. ft. and is equipped with a pump house and surrounded by coconut trees.
The cost of the property is Rs.28,50,000/-. Registration charges will further work out to Rs.2,00,000/- and cost of repairing is estimated to be approximately Rs.3,00,000/-. The total cost of acquiring the property and immediate repairs is estimated to be around Rs.33,50,000/-
